David W. Seegmiller diary, circa 1926–1931, including photographs. This part of the diary tells of several trips his family took while he was young. During the summer of 1928 while en route to drop his brother off in Washington D.C. for a job, his family travelled all over the U.S. camping and driving by car. He also tells stories of his time as a boy scout and the many hikes and campouts he participated in. He also discusses his discovery of physical imperfections such as buck teeth, a small chin, and his hair color. He also tells of his experiences with sports during junior high.
