Materials include a photocopied photograph of Edward Thurman in his U.S. Army uniform and photocopied military service records, including his honorable discharge papers, his chemical warfare school certificate, promotion to corporal certificate, and separation qualification papers. Also included is the transcription of Thurman's father's journal entries concerning Thurman. Dated 1939-1945.
