Caption on item: "For Immediate Release -- Geneva Works of U.S. Steel has earned the National Safety Council's first place award among the 28 steel mills in its size class for the year ending June 30, 1966. Accepting the award last week in Chicago on behalf of Geneva's 5,000 employees were George A. Jedenhoff, general superintendent, left, and Blaine Cropper, supervisor of safety, from General John Lawlor, executive vice president of the National Safety Council."
