Scope and Contents
Photographic reproduction of a Spanish-Tarascan dictionary, compiled by Father Maturino Gilberti around 1569. The dictionary, in Gilberti's own handwriting, is a revision of the 1559 Gilberti vocabulary. It lists words and phrases in Spanish from "A" to "Zumbar el mosquito," followed by their equivalents in Tarascan, arranged in double columns on each page.
