Norton collected family traditions from subjects. Included are a snow picnic where a campfire meal is eaten in the snow, a tradition of eating almond rice pudding on New Year's, and eating black eyed peas on New Years for good luck. The project was collected for an English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1998.
