Material contains the text of a talk given by Radack Ehrenfried in a sacrament meeting. Ehrenfried was born in Germany and raised in a Latter-day Saint family. Describes his experiences growing up in Germany. Explains that when he was faced with being drafted into the German S.S., he decided to volunteer for officer training instead. Describes being the only survivor when he and his fellow troops were attacked by Russians. Recalls being caught and shot at by Russian soldiers, and being saved by a Russian officer. Describes the time he spent as a prisoner of war in Russia. Mentions a letter from his mother encouraging him to have faith in God. Quotes from letters he wrote while in prison camp. Dated before 2001.
