Scope and Contents

Abe Acosta collected personal narratives about cultural differences between Americans and the Portuguese. Included are stories of Portuguese family closeness, the American practice of polite lying, and the American emphasis on individuality. Project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1996.
