Scope and Contents

Jacqueline Atkinson collected personal narratives about prank folklore of sister missionaries in Japan serving for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Included are stories about sisters sticking marshmallows to elders bikes, stuffing wasabi into cookies to get back at elders who played a prank on two sisters, and covering a missionary's birthday cake with shaving cream. Project was written for an English class taught at Brigham Young University in 1998.
