William Riley Hurst diary, 1990-1992
Scope and Contents
William and Carol plan to visit their son grant in Dallas for Christmas, but are unable to go due to unfavorable weather. William writes of his religious study and church activity. He visits his elderly sister Marge at her care center. He ordains his grandson to the Priesthood. He and his wife live at their daughter Heather's house much of the time to help care for her children. William goes to the doctor and learns he has serious heart problems and likely colon cancer. The Hursts have a family reunion. William and Carol have a minor flood in their home. William works at the Family History Center. He confirms his grandson a member of the Church. William and Carol visit many of their children. William's grandson Javan runs away from home and isn't found again for many hours.
