Scope and Contents

William's son-in-law Wayne helps him run his business but William is concerned about his methods. William spends much time pondering and grows closer to the Lord. His mother-in-law has an eye operation that goes well but has an unpleasant recovery. William is admitted to the hospital for surgery on his prostate and is released from the hospital a few days later. His declining physical health makes it difficult for him to complete household tasks. His daughter Heather has a third child. His son Grant gets married. William suffers from stomach ulcers. His business goes bankrupt under Wayne's leadership.
