Biographical History

Richard P. Barnes was born on February 18, 1925 in San Pedro, California. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp in September 1943 and flew with the 457th Bomb Group and the 749th Bomb Squadron. He was discharged in November 1945 shortly after the surrender of Germany.
