The literary rights to the Talmage collection rest with the Harold B. Lee Library and the Talmage family. Permission to publish material from the James E. Talmage collection must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services at specialcollections@byu.edu.

Speech titled Our Habits and Fashions, delivered by James E. Talmage before the Cleofan Society in Salt Lake City on January 3, 1895 (S. 76). Included in address is a speech titled Loves and Hates, originally delivered before the Philosophical Society on October 1, 1896.
