Interview of John A. Beesley administered by Redd Center intern Sara Zabriskie for the Center's "Historic Downtown Provo Oral History Project." Topics discussed in this interview include Beesley's childhood in Salt Lake City, memories of businesses which used to exist in Provo, and concerns about Provo's continuing urbanization ranging from the sale of liquor on Sundays in the city to the rise of high-rise buildings in the downtown region. Biographical History
Sara Zabriskie is an employee of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University. She is known for conducting an Oral History interview in Springville, Utah with Bill Brown and John A Beesley for the Historic Downtown Provo Oral History Project.
