Kieth Merrill completed creative projects

 Series
Identifier: MSS 1950 Series 3

Scope and Contents

This series documents the development, production, and distribution of Merrill’s completed films and published works. Materials were generated through research, scriptwriting, filming, post-production, marketing, and exhibition processes. Formats include script drafts, narration texts, budgets, production schedules, correspondence, photographs, concept art, press materials, presentation slides, and audiovisual elements such as CD audiobooks. Content dates range from 1979 to 2012 and reflect filming and publication activities in the United States and international locations, including national parks, urban centers, and overseas sites. Subject matter includes historical dramatizations, large-format documentaries, family films, literary publications, and religious-themed productions. While many projects are represented by substantial development and production files, the depth of documentation varies by title, and some works are documented primarily through promotional or administrative materials rather than full production records.
