Scope and Contents

Contains letters from Alvin Fielding Smith to his wife Amelia Atkins Smith, or "Millie," and his daughter Ruth, or "Ruthie." Smith writes from London, England, where he served as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to his family in Salt Lake City, Utah. In his letters, he includes daily mission affairs, references to correspondence with other family and acquaintances, matters at home, meetings and conferences, and struggles with illness. He often mentions his hope that Amelia may come to visit him in England. Photographs are also included. Dated February 1, 1907 - February 26, 1907.
