Contains letters written primarily to and from Nora Ellen Crockett Ream and William Dewine Ream dated January 17, 1930, to December 16, 1932. Correspondents include Lydia L. Lamoreaux, Beulah Ream Allen, Casper Merrill, Nora Estelle Lamoreaux, Ruth Clarkson, Muriel Lamoreaux, Mae Baltimore, Ernestine Pomeroy, Sybil Vione Hopkins, Helen Swensen, Roxana Catherine Crockett, and Mattie B. Hansen. Also includes other materials such as postcards, invitations, and tax documents.

Nora Ellen Crockett Ream (1862-1945) was a wife, mother, and grandmother to many in Utah.

Nora Crockett Ream was born on December 28, 1862, in Logan, Utah, to parents Mary Sophia Reed and Alvin Crockett. She married William Dewine Ream on November 11, 1885, and spent years ranching in Dingle, Idaho. Together they had ten children that lived to adulthood. She resided in Utah, Idaho, and California. She died on November 30, 1945 in San Francisco, California, and was buried in Dingle, Idaho.

William Dewine Ream (1859-1939) was a husband, father, and rancher in Idaho.

Will Ream was born on October 29, 1859, in Chariton, Iowa, to parents Nancy Elizabeth Murphin and Sampson Mitchell Ream. He married Nora Ellen Crockett on November 11, 1885, and together they had ten children that lived to adulthood. Their family years were spent ranching in Dingle, Idaho. William died on November 24, 1939, in Long Beach, California.

Lydia L. Crockett Lamoreaux (1877-1898) was the sister to Nora Ellen Crockett Ream.

Lydia L. Crocket Lamoreaux was born April 1877 in Logan, Utah. She married Joan Judd Smith in 1898. She was the sister of Nora Ellen Crockett Ream, Mary Sophia Crocket Smith, and Delia Anne Crocket Curtis. She died in July 1955 in Los Angeles, California.

Beulah Ream Allen (1897-1989) was the Dean of the College of Nursing at Brigham Young University.

Beulah Ream Allen was born in 1897 in Dingle, Idaho. She received a degree in nursing and later married Lt. Col. Henderson Wilcox Allen in September 1937. She was a nurse in the Philippines for over a decade and her service there coincided with World War II. She was later the dean of Brigham Young University's College of Nursing from 1961-1965. She was the mother of two sons and died in 1989.

Ernestine Pomery (1851-1940) was a friend of Nora Ellen Crockett.

Ernestine Pomeroy was born in 1851. She was a wife and a mother. She became a friend of Nora Ellen Crockett and Ida Nora Crockett in Long Beach, California then later feuded With Ida over some property. Ernestine died in approximately 1940.

Sybil Vione Hopkins was born in 1896 in Logan, Utah. She was the niece of Nora Ellen Crockett. She worked as a secretary in the Utah State capital building, and then later for the state tax comission. Sybil died in 1996 in Logan, Utah.

Roxana Catherine Crocket was born in 1870 in Logan, Utah and was the sister of Nora Ellen Crockett. She married John Henrey Hopkins in 1886 and together they had twelve children. She died in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1944.

Helen Swensen was born in Pleasant Grove, Utah in 1904. She married Milton Parke Ream in 1929 and became the daughter-in-law of Nora Ellen Crockett and William Dewine Ream. Together she and Milton had three children. Helen died in 1991 in California.

Casper Merrill (1902-1999) was the nephew of Nora Ellen Crockett.

Casper Merrill was born in 1902 in Idaho. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1925. In 1928 he married Anna Crockett, the niece of Nora Ellen Crockett, and became the nephew of Nora Ellen Crockett. Casper died in 1999 in Utah.

Nora Estelle Lamoreuax was born in 1894 in Dingle, Idaho. Nora was the niece of Nora Ellen Crockett and duaghter of Lydia Lamoreaux. Nora married Grover Hoopes in 1919 and together they had five children. Nora died in 1947 in Arizona.

Muriel Lamoreaux (1895-1975) was the niece of Nora Ellen Crockett.

Muriel Lamoreaux was born in 1895 in Arizona. She was the daughter of Lydia L. Lamoreaux and the niece of Nora Ellen Crockett. She married George Matthews in 1914 and together they had five children. Muriel died in 1975 in California.

Mae Baltimore (1881-1978) was the niece of Nora Ellen Crokett.

Mae Baltimore was born in 1881 in Logan, Utah. She was the daughter of Delia Ann Crockett and the niece of Nora Ellen Crockett. She was married to James Welsh in 1903. She was later married to Charles Baltimore in 1927. Mae died in 1978 in California.

Mattie B. Hanson was born in 1856 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the friend of Nora Ellen Crockett. She married Edward Hanson in 1881 and together they had two children. Mattie died in Logan, Utah in 1948.

Ruth Clarkson (1857-1947) was the wife of Orzo Ozias Crockett.

Ruth Clarkson was born in 1857 in New York. He family was early Latter-day Saint pioneers that immigrated to the western United States. Ruth married Orzo Ozias Corckett in 1878 and together they had twelve children. She died in 1947 in Idaho.
