Magnum d-3 note: "Caves in loess cliffs lived in by peasants on the train trip to Sian, taken in Hopei near Xi'an, HERE IN THE CRADLE of Chinese civilization, near a flooded area of the Yellow river. This is where the chinese have been living in cages for five thousand years of history, and thousands of years before that perhaps. THIS IS A VERY GOOD PIX. I HAD TO OPEN THE WINDOW TO TAKE IT AND it is on a moving bumpy train on a high grade in a flooded river bed. I am not sure this is the famous Yellow River now, but think it is."
