Biographical history

David I. Tew (1931-1997) was an educator and a veteran of the Korean War.

David I. Tew was born May 9, 1931 in Nephi, Utah to John Ivan Tew and LaVelle Ockey. After graduating from high school, he served in the Korean War as a member of the Utah Army National Guard. He married Norma Rose Hensley June 8 1957 in the Los Angeles Temple. In 1993 he retired from the Escondido, California School District. David I. Tew died November 4, 1997 in Woodland Hills, Utah.
