Scope and Contents

Materials include an original letter from John K. Kane to his mother, Elizabeth Kintzing Kane, saying that Judge Seth Campbell has not yet arrived. He comments on national politics, and explains that President Andrew Jackson is trying to distribute the Neapolitan Indemnity to the Board of Commissions. Dated December 19, 1832.
