Scope and Contents
Journal written by Kane containing accounts of her wedding day and wedding trip through Virginia, her relationship with her husband, Thomas L. Kane, her health and the health of her husband, and some of their interactions. She often writes about her relationship with the Kane family and her efforts to improve herself. Also includes some sketches and lists. Dated April 30, 1853 to October 2, 1853.
