Scope and Contents

Letter from Thomas L. Kane to his mother, Jane Duval Leiper Kane, saying that he is on board a ship named The Duchess of Orleans and that he has been seasick and homesick. He describes different people on the ship. Dated October 16, 24, and 28, 1843.
