Scope and Contents
Letter from Thomas L. Kane to his parents, John K. and Jane Duval Leiper Kane, saying that he was forced to go to England because of an accident and now he is lame. He is going to stay with his cousin, Archibald Morrison, at Eaton Hall. He says that many people have been kind to him including August Comte, Alfred de Vigniy, and William and Harriet Wood. Dated October 3, 1840.
