Scope and Contents

Letter from John K. Kane to Jane Duval Leiper Kane saying that after four day's journey they have arrived at Fredericksburg. He says he visited with members of the Julia Leiper and Henry Taylor family and will continue his journey tomorrow toward Charlottesville. Dated March 25, 1828.
