Scope and Contents
Letter from John K. Kane to Jane Duval Leiper Kane saying that his cousin and Illinois senator, Elias Kent Kane, has returned to Washington and will make a trip to Philadelphia soon. He says that the House has discussed adjournment and the committee already has over four hundred pages of testimony and may end in impeachment. Dated March 1, 1825.
