Typescript of a journal by Kane recording a trip Kane took to France, an interview with Dr. Benneville, a visit to Blockley Hospital, and various poetic and philosophical writings. Also contains copied letters and documents regarding the Mormons' settlement on Indian territory at Council Bluffs and various family history notes.
