William Riley Hurst diary, 1978-1979

 Item — Box: 4, Folder: 4
Identifier: MSS 8812 Item 22

Scope and Contents

William's mission in Texas with his wife Carol continues. They teach gospel lessons and minister to members of the Church. William writes of an experience where a member of the Church lost touch with reality and started lashing out violently. William helped the man's wife get him to the hospital and wrestle him into restraining bands. William notices overall improvements in his health, although at one point he catches an unpleasant virus. His son Mike also has miraculous health improvements. Tornadoes hit William and Carol's mission but they remain safe. They return home to Blanding, Utah, from their mission. William begins helping with the family business again.
