Note on verso: "JAWARHALAL NEHRU, pix given to Helen Foster Snow by his daughter, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Nov. 1972, in New Delhi when I interviewed her. He wrote an introduction to my book on coops.
Nehru wrote introduction to CHINA BUILDS FOR DEMOCRACY, India ed. the book of Helen Foster Snow advocating industrial cooperatives for India, which started them there."
