William Riley Hurst diary, 1978 February-November
Scope and Contents
William's mission in Texas continues. He and Carol minister to the inactive members of the branch. They persuade the mission president to send Elders to help them and are then tasked with finding their housing. William interprets a man's dream for him based on revelation. He and Carol take advantage of many service opportunities. William suffers a small stroke but recovers. He comes to see Texas as beautiful. He receives great medical help. He receives a testimony that his mission is being led by the Lord. His daughter Heather tells the family that she is divorcing her husband Kelly and William writes about how hard it is to stay on his mission and not go comfort his daughter. William turns 70. He and Carol get transferred to Monahans, Texas.
