Letter of condolence for George’s death. Says to tell Tom if he hasn’t left that she plans to go to California with Gertie while she has a chance. Mary will stay with him and keep house during that time. This letter is barely literate with many spelling and grammatical errors suggesting that Ann had little or no schooling in England.
