Materials dated 1949-1952.

Biographical History

Sarah Sybil Douglas Vincent (1916-2004) was a seamstress and teacher.

Sarah Sybil Vincent was born Sarah Sybil Douglas on May 6, 1916 in Magna, Utah to William Mungo and Jessie Wall Douglas. She married Roland R. Vincent in September 1933, and they were sealed in 1952. She was a heavily involved in the LDS faith and taught sewing classes in addition to serving in several callings. She served a senior mission in Santa Rosa. Sarah Sybil Vincent passed away March 21, 2004.

Biographical History

Roland R. Vincent (1911-1992) was a machinist.

Roland R. Vincent was born April 12, 1911 in Provo, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University and later became a machinist. He married Sarah Sybil Douglas on September 14, 1933. He served as the chairman for District 18 in Provo, Utah. In 1964 he sought nomination for the State House of Representatives. Roland R. Vincent passed away on October 24, 1992 in Provo, Utah.
