Biographical History

Gladys R. Olson was born in 1934 in St. George, Utah and raised in Littlefield, Arizona. She attended school locally and moved to Logan, Utah for college, where she studied home economics. She met her husband, Vincent, and they got married in 1953. Her husband joined the ROTC and was sent to Vietnam. They started a family and moved to Turkey and Germany for a time.

Biographical History

Vincent T. Olson was born in 1932 in Cowley, Wyoming. He attended school there before moving to Logan, Utah. He met his wife Gladys at Utah State University and they were married in 1953. He graduated in 1955 with a degree in sociology. He began training as an artillery officer and was assigned to Ankara, Turkey, where he moved with his family. They moved all over the world as he continued his military career. After retirement, he sold real estate for a time. He and his wife served as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He passed away in 2012.
