Magnum a-37 note: "Dramatics troup with Wen T'ao, a director, and boys and girls. At left is Liu Chih; the star, son of a Sian banker; he used to call on me all the time with his friend, also in the picture, seated next to him, Wang Wen-chiang. I taught the two boys to tap dance but it was not a successful performace--they used a wooden door to dance on and it reverberated. Wen Tao's story is in The Chinese Communists."
