Scope and Contents
This includes an oral history interview of Erma Dee Heindselman Robley administered by Redd Center intern Shayla Sturgess for the center's "Historic Downtown Provo Oral History Project." Topics discussed in this interview include the size of Provo in the early 1900s, her experiences working at her family's store, and experiences shopping in downtown Provo in the 1900s. Material dated February 20, 2012.

Biographical History
Shayla Sturgess is an English Teacher at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint's Missionary Training Center and a former student at Brigham Young University, Oxford, and the National Taiwan Normal University.
Sturgess came to Brigham Young University in Provo in 2006, where she majored in History Teaching. While at BYU, she worked at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint's Missionary Training Center. She was awarded a scholarship. She also worked as an intern for the Charles Redd Center, and conducted interviews for the “Historic Downtown Provo Oral History Project.”
After graduating from BYU in 2013, Sturgess attended two universities outside of the United States. She first attended the National Taiwan Normal University as a part of a three-month Mandarin program in 2013. Afterward, she attended Oxford to major in Global and Imperial History in 2013-2014.
