Biographical History
Glen Wilcox was born in 1916 in Enterprise, Utah, as the youngest of 12 children. He worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. In 1936, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Texas and the surrounding states. When he returned to Utah, he married and started a family. He was drafted into World War II in 1944 as a translator and chose to go into the navy. During his service, he spent time in Japan and islands throughout the Pacific. After the war, he worked for the post office and then for the Bureau of Reclamation, which sent him to Thailand for four years. He passed away in 2016.
