Biographical History

Briant Jacobs (1918-2005) was an English professor at Brigham Young University, 1946-1984.

Custodial History

Carol Ottesen, historian of BYU Emeritus Alumnus Association, interviewed Jacobs at suggestion of University Archives. She delivered interview tape to University Archives in August 2000, shortly before departing with her husband to participate in the China Teachers Program. Interview transcribed by BYU Special Collections, and draft transcript mailed to Jacobs in January 2001. He returned the transcript a short time later, in early February.
