Administrative History
The Division of Media Services is housed in the Office of Information Technology. The Division of Instructional Services was started in 1924 with only a small audio-visual collection. The division has grown from one full-time person and two part-time students in 1932 to the hundreds of employees and multiple departments functioning today. The Office of Information Technology provides many services such as computer rental, repair, and maintenance; phone service; audio/visual recording and repair; as well as other on-campus technology services such as Access Point labs.
