Collection of football media guides
Scope and Contents
Contains football media guides from Brigham Young University (BYU). The guides include season schedules, player rosters, season outlooks, profiles of coaches, players, opposing coaches, and other athletic personnel, lists of BYU lettermen, team win-loss records, tournament results, statistics, and bowl histories. Also includes duplicate copies.

Restricted. Closed for 35 years after the creation of the records and thereafter open to the public in accordance with the General Restriction Statement of the L. Tom Perry Special Collections.

Administrative History
The Athletic Media Relations department (1996- ) is responsible for the publicity of Brigham Young University Athletics.
The Athletic Media Relations department at Brigham Young University functions to maintain the Athletics website, write press releases, track game and season statistics, create game programs, and produce associated graphic designs and videos. It was previously named Sports Information until 1996, when it was renamed Athletic Media Relations and integrated into Intercollegiate Athletics.
