Administrative History
The sewing shop was established in October 1964 as Campus Couture; it was renamed to Cougar Custom Sewing in about 1984. The Clothing & Textiles Department, of which it was a part, was discontinued in 1999.

Custodial History
Received in twelve-section accordion file in University Archives on August 11, 1998. Original news clippings were photocopied by archives for preservation purposes; originals were destroyed.
