Biographical / Historical
University Personnel Services evolved out of the Placement Bureau, or Placement Center, which initially provided placement services for graduating students. B. Keith Duffin was recruited by Ernest Wilkinson in 1952 to organize and direct a placement service. Personnel Services has since evolved into the Human Resources Department.
