Administrative History

The College of Religious Instruction is not an academic department. However, it does administer all religion courses sponsored by the university for credit toward graduation. Courses are available in ancient and modern scripture, Church history and doctrine, and related subjects.

Custodial History

Materials were transferred from the Printed Matter collection of the archives.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

This collection was originally PM 12, part of the Printed Matter collection in the Archives. A vertical file of sorts, PM 12 was designated as static, and was processed as a permanent collection in October 1992.
