Administrative History

The Brigham Young University Library Staff Association (1958-approximately 2007) was an organization that planned meetings and activities for library staff.

The Brigham Young University Library Staff Association was founded in 1958 with the purpose of serving library staff members. Membership required dues of five dollars per year. The organization held monthly meetings or socials, which included the opening social, Christmas party, open house for student employees, and spring social. Members also received a book discount. The organization of the association included a president, a fall social committee, a Christmas committee, and a brown bag lunceon committee.
