Biographical History
Reed Turner (1948- ) of Canada is a retired agricultural engineer and Brigham Young University graduate.
Reed Turner was born on October 21, 1948 in Fort William, Ontario, Canada. Turner studied at the University of Lethbridge in 1967 prior to serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in southern Austrailia from 1968 to 1969. Upon his return, Turner attended Brigham Young University from 1970 to 1973 and graduated with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Reed Turner married Emma Worthington in December of 1973. From 1973 to 1988 Turner worked as a Design and Test Engineer at John Deere Harvester Works and John Deere Technical Center in Illinois. In 1988 Reed Turner began work at the Alberta Farm Machinery Research Centre and Agricultural Technology Centre. Turner remained at the Agricultural Technology Centre until 2007. Reed Turner then worked at Turner Consulting from 2007 until his retirement in 2013.
