Biographical History

The Speakers Bureau was a part of the public relations side of University Relations. Its function was to select and provide BYU speakers to the public. Not to be confused with the Guest Speakers on Campus Committee, which selected speakers to be brought to campus. The Speakers Bureau was chaired by J. Lavar Bateman, Jerald Jex, and C. Lavar Rockwood.
