Administrative History

Alpha Kappa Psi (1904-) is a professional co-ed business fraternity.

Alpha Kappa Psi was founded on October 05, 1904 at New York University by George L. Bergen, Howard M. Jefferson, Nathan Lane Jr., and Frederic R. Leach (also known as the Brooklyn Four). It was created to develop its members into principled and professional business leaders. Membership within the organization has increased to 298,000 across 219 universities in 4 countries. Its guiding principles are: building brotherhood, lifelong learning, high ethical standards, improving communities, and enhancing the fraternity for life. The organization is the oldest and largest business fraternity in the world.
