Administrative History

The Physical Plant Department of Brigham Young University is responsible for planning, programming, construction, and ground maintenance for the University. It is also known as the Physical Facilities Deparment. During building construction, Physical Facilities works with architects and designers to create a space suitable for a working and learning environment, as well as one that meets the standards or codes of the community. Renderings are often required of an architect for submittal to the city and owner during the design review process.
