Collection contains correspondence, meeting minutes, committee assignments, information on graduate programs, information supporting a review of graduate programs, and other files documenting the history of the Graduate School from 1954 to 1993.

Restricted. Closed for 35 years from the date of creation of the records, and thereafter open to the public in accordance with the University Archives Policy.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances. Permission to publish material from Graduate School records must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.
Administrative History
The Graduate Division slowly developed in the 1920s until it became the Graduate School in 1929 with Christen Jensen as dean. The Graduate School is responsible for all graduate programs at Brigham Young University.
