An oral history interview with Raymond B. Bartlett, conducted by Bertrand F. Harrison on March 7,1983 for the BYU Alumni Association Emeritus Club. Raymond discusses his early childhood, schooling, and career at Brigham Young University. Also includes a draft, original transcript, two cassette tapes, and a bound copy of the oral history interview.

Biographical History

Raymond Bartlett Farnsworth (1915-1987) was a professor at Brigham Young University.

Raymond Bartlett Farnsworth was born May 21, 1915 in Enterprise, Washington, Utah, to Bartlett Canfield Farnsworth and Lillie Parthenia Holt. He received his bachelor's from Brigham Young University, master's degree in soil microbiology from Massachusetts State College, and Ph.D. in soil physics from Ohio State. He then accepted a position as a professor at BYU. He married his wife Maurine on December 31, 1943 in San Diego, California. Raymond died October 31, 1987 in Provo, Utah, Utah.
