Driggs; and University and Presidential correspondence addressed by various administrators, including some by Rasmus and Driggs.

Biographical History

From the Collection:

Carolyn Rasmus of the College of Physical Education was appointed Assistant to the President in June 1979. She served in this capacity for Presidents Oaks and Holland until May 1984. As Assistant to the President, Dr. Rasmus chaired the committee which oversaw all University committees. Much of the President's correspondence, was addressed by Dr. Rasmus. Title IX and the housing controversy were also addressed by the Assistant to the President. Dr. Rasmus was the first woman to serve on the Faculty Advisory Council. During the tenure of Dr. Rasmus, the title of Assistant to the President was changed to Executive Assistant to the President.
