Permission to publish material from the Religious Education records must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.
Administrative History
Religious Education is not an academic college. It administers all religion courses sponsored by the University for credit towards graduation. Courses are available in ancient and modern scripture, church history, doctrine, and related subjects. The deans of the Religious Education have included: David H. Yarn Jr. (1959-1962), B. West Belnap (1962-1967), Daniel H. Ludlow (1967-1971), Roy W. Doxey (1971-1974), Jeffrey R. Holland (1974-1976), Ellis T. Rasmussen (1976-1981), Robert J. Matthews (1981-1991), Robert L. Millet (1991- ).
