Ten transcribed, typed letters from Zane Grey to Claire Wilhelm, who was Dolly Grey's cousin. Written from 1932 to 1933, Grey and Wilhelm were rekindling a relationship from twenty years previously, though Wilhelm had remarried and had children. Wilhelm had been Grey's traveling companion on several trips to the Western United States as well as Tahiti.
